This week, the twiglets hosted representatives from the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT) at our HQ in King’s Cross, London.
We kicked things off with an introduction to our platform technology before giving a demonstration of our software and a tour of our high-throughput labs. It was fantastic to have a broad group of UK Government representatives, allowing us to talk policy, machine learning, robotics and of course, how best to spend the £2B of funding announced for engineering biology!
At twig, we’re really excited to see the UK Government supporting our industry. EngBio will transform the world as we know it, and the opportunity is not to be missed.
Huge thanks to Jack Weaver, Policy Officer at DSIT, for organising.
