Meet our new twiglet: Dani

Can you tell us a little about your background and your new role?

Earlier this year, I graduated from UCL with a BSc in Economics, and in October I joined twig where I am working as a Strategy and Operations Intern. Previously, I have interned with BCG in London as a management consultant and worked as a founder’s associate for a climate tech startup.

Why did you decide to join team twig?

Decarbonising back-of-the-bottle ingredients is commonly understated as a key lever towards reaching net-zero, and twig combines deep technical and scientific capabilities with a strong commercial team to target this issue in a novel way. Working on a solution with huge potential impact while learning quickly is great itself, and being able to do that while working with the supportive and fun team here at twig is better.

What do you like to do outside of work?

I’m big into playing and watching sports, especially football, and I (unfortunately) support Manchester United. Chess and running are some of my other hobbies, and I also love travelling.
