Can you tell us a little about your background and your new role?
After gaining a PhD in Synthetic Biology at the University of Bristol, I worked for two years at a company producing synthetic DNA for gene therapy. I’m very excited to be starting my new role on Twig’s science team as a synthetic biologist.
Why did you decide to join team twig?
I wanted to work on problems to help solve some of the many challenges in Synthetic Biology. Twig’s approach to solving these is very exciting and provides an opportunity to learn a whole new different way of doing science.
What do you like to do outside of work?
I love a good road trip and travelling to places I have never been. I also play lots of board games, dabble in tennis and salsa, and have a passion for good coffee.
