Can you tell us a little about your background and your new role?
After graduating in 2022 with a Master’s in Applied Biological Research, I worked as a laboratory research officer at The Francis Crick Institute in the Malaria Immunology lab. I moved from The Crick to Twig in July, where I now work as a laboratory technician.
Why did you decide to join team twig?
I applied to join Twig as I thought that their mission to create sustainable bionengineered ingredients was something I would love to be a part of. After meeting the team, I knew this was the place I wanted to work as it genuinely feels like a little family (plus the bonus of office dogs!).
What do you like to do outside of work?
Outside of work, my main hobby is baking. I always make sure to make my friends their favourite cake for their birthdays, and have even made a friend’s wedding cake! As well as this, I love to ski and have been hitting the slopes since I was 4 years old.
