Can you tell us a little about your background and your new role?
I’ve spent the past 16 years mostly working for large corporates, initially as a chartered accountant, then as an operations management consultant and most recently managing a range of operational transformation projects.
After having my first child, I was looking for change and after speaking with Russ, I joined twig to manage HR, finance, procurement, facilities and to support the team however best I can to deliver our goals!
Why did you decide to join team twig?
I was looking for a role in a company that moves fast. Twig, as a start-up, has ambitious goals which I find really engaging & exciting. It gives me more variety, autonomy and the opportunity to apply the wide range of knowledge and expertise I have built up over the years.
It was also about the people. I’ve known Russ for years as a friend and after meeting Jimmy and Sat, I was excited to join such a bright and ambitious team.
What do you like to do outside of work?
I seem to spend most of my time (and energy!) running around after my 15 month old toddler. I love to spend time outdoors, whether it’s sprucing up the garden, bbqs with the family, or exploring new places on holiday.
