After spending three months in less-than-desirable temporary labs, today twig moved into a gleaming purpose-built 2000 sq.ft. facility just north of Granary Square, King’s Cross. Previously a laundrette, the industrial unit was acquired by Co-Laboratories and has been thoughtfully converted, re-using and recycling equipment and furniture wherever possible to minimise its impact on the environment.
The facility boasts a dedicated wet-lab, fitted out with twig’s robotic synthetic biology discovery platform, and a modern office for our twiglets.
Alongside the twig team, company stick insects Bramble, Hazel and Rose are also enjoying the new space and local foliage.
