A great evening in London at the Nebius AI Discovery Awards!
Our CTO, Satnam Surae, and CEO, Russ Tucker, represented twig at the gala dinner and were over the moon to come 2nd place in the Genomics category from more than 600 applicants across 6 categories! Alongside a glass trophy, twig was awarded $50K in compute credits with the real highlight that it was presented on a novelty cheque! This award is a testament to the hard-work, incredible expertise and dedication of all the twiglets, and we’ll have some exciting results to share soon.
A huge thank you to Nebius (Ilya Burkov, Hasan Göktuğ Çolak, Mankaran Ahluwalia and the rest of the team), the judges, and everyone who’s supported what we’re building with CANOPY. It’s encouraging to see growing recognition for AI purpose-built for engineering biology and biomanufacturing.
