From 60 applications, six startups from around the world were selected to pitch their novel ingredients to the Shiseido Executive Committee in Paris. The purpose of the annual pitch is to allow Shiseido to accelerate the development of innovative, modern and environmentally friendly products, combining their expertise in the fields of beauty and science with the cutting-edge technologies of external partners.
twig was chosen, and our Co-Founder and CEO, Russ Tucker, took to the stage to showcase one of our novel ingredients in development. The presentation was a firm favourite with the audience, with attendees commenting on the huge potential of our technology to delight consumers and empower sustainable choices.
As a result, we’re excited to continue to build our relationship with Shiseido over the months ahead and look forward to getting our bioengineered ingredients into the hands of consumers.
