We’re finally able to announce that twig is the recipient of a hotly-contested SmartGrant from Innovate UK! Competition for this award was extremely tough, with 2,134 applicants and only 44 funded, so we’re extremely pleased to have been successful.
Our ~£500,000 project is focused on taking our first ingredient to market, which is set to transform sustainability and performance vs. incumbent ingredients. It’s a novel, active ingredient used in beauty and cosmetics products that we know consumers will love. Watch this space and we’ll reveal all soon!
Our list of commercial partners are excited to get their hands on it, and this grant will help us produce development samples with our partners Centre for Process Innovation in the UK.
