There was an air of excitement at twig HQ this week, as Micky Carroll from Sky News came to meet the twiglets and find out about our AI-defined approach to bioengineer ingredients.
Mickey started things off in the nail salon before heading to our labs where we make bioengineered acetone, a key ingredient in lots of everyday items, including nail polish remover. Acetone normally comes from fossil fuels, but with twig:tech, we can make a sustainable version instead.
We gave Mickey a tour of the labs and talked her through the process. Check out the full clip here.
